Bringing STEAM into the Makerspace

In this session, you can learn what the Maker Movement is and find some ways to get started bringing Science Technology Engineering Arts and Mathematics into the Makerspace. Includes practical tips, an overview of what tools we have, as well as examples of challenges, as well as a lot of time to try Makerspace tools hands-on.  This session will be broken up into two parts.  In the first part, you will learn about some of ways to build STEAM and the Maker Movement into your existing curriculum and explore resources.  Then, there will be a lunch break from 11:30 - 12:30.  You will then come back to the Makerspace and have the next 90 minutes to start using the robots, Bloxels, green screen, Strawbees, and more.
